LOWO Logistics saw the commercial stakes clearly. Cross-border road freight in the EU alone represented a €20M+ addressable market, but only if the company could prove operational control in the field, not just pitch it in a deck. Leadership needed a wheels-first platform that could go live on real routes, retain every delivery record through connectivity gaps, and extend later into air and sea without a rebuild.
We sequenced the work in three phases. First, validate the commercial thesis and define the minimum operating model for road freight only. Second, build a unified mobile platform for drivers and warehouse teams with offline-first sync as a requirement, not a backlog item. Third, engineer modular boundaries so air and sea workflows could attach to the same core when LOWO was ready to expand modes.
That discipline kept LOWO from buying a generic transport management system and customizing it for years. Every design decision was tested against field reality: roaming handoffs, GDPR capture rules, and the cost of redundant mobile data on long hauls.
